Recreational:
Played in high school, college, or have played consistently in leagues? Then this will be the skill level for you. The intermediate level is set for those individuals and teams looking to play some competitive basketball. Many teams will run set plays, and all of them will have a great understanding of the game on both ends of the floor.
*NEW RULE,* Any technical foul will result in automatic 2 points awarded to the other team. No free throws.
Sports Monster Pittsburgh Flag Football
Flag Football Leagues ARE Back!!!!
Sports Monster is partnering with North Strabane to offer some flag football this summer.
Paid referees will officiate every game and all the equpment is provided by Sports Monster! Just wear your cleats (no metal) and a uniform color shirt or jersey for your team, we got the rest, including mulitiple skill levels to choose from so you’ll find great competition no matter how good (or bad!) you are.
Registration is open for full teams or individuals looking to be placed on a team. Outdoor leagues will fill up fast so act quickly on your registration to lock up a spot!
Flag Football Leagues Include:
- 6 to 8 week season – check your league details page
- Regular season pool play + playoff tournament
- Game length depends on format and location. Read the LEARN MORE link for each league
- Paid/trained referees for each game
- All belts, flags, and game balls provided

Pickleball Leagues!!!!
We are excited to bring back this glorious game!
Never heard of it or know what it is? Pickleball is similiar to tennis and badminton. The only difference is a lower net, you play with a paddle, and use a wiffle ball. Other than that its the same science as tennis. So who’s ready to wake a ball?!
Grab your pickle partner and don’t forget to stay out of the kitchen!
Sports Monster Pickleball Leagues Include:
- 6 week regular season followed by a 1-2 week playoff tournament
- Coed/Men’s/Women’s Doubles
- best out of 3 games – usually an hour of game time
- Scoring: first team to 11/tournaments will 15
- Will be played at North Park and their new pickleball courts
Three different levels of play to choose from:
Hacker- New to the Game? Or wanting to grow your pickleball talents? Then this division is for you!! Player rating of 2.0-2.5.
Smacker- Got Pickleball Skills? Player rating of 3.0-3.5
Whacker- Looking for that Challenge or the best of the best, here is your division. Player rating 4.0+

Highland Park is perfect for our 6’s volleyball leagues that are geared towards having fun! If you have or haven’t played in high school or college and just want to enjoy time with friends, then this is the league for you. We have had some awesome huge leagues recently!
Registration is open for full teams or individuals looking to be placed on a team. Priority registration will save you $$$ so make your move now to secure your spot in these popular leagues!
Standard 7-8 Week Volleyball Leagues Include:
- 6-7 Week Regular Season + playoff tournament
- Referees and game balls provided by Sports Monster
- Coed teams require a minimum of 3 females on the court for 6v6
- Coed teams require a minimum of 2 females on the court for 4v4
- Matches consist of three games played to 25: rally scoring

Sports Monster Pittsburgh Soccer
Indoor Soccer Registration is NOW OPEN!!!
Recreational Level:
If you are looking for a good time and aren’t the best soccer player out there but love the game, then this is your league. This level is set for those players who didn’t play in college, maybe played some high school, or are just overall athletic and want to play. Leagues include a mixture of good players and beginners, but this level is set for our recreational players.
Intermediate Level:
Played college? Played high school, or have just played consistently in pickup or league play? Then this will be the league for you. This level is set for those individuals and teams looking to play some competitive soccer with skilled opponents and teammates.
Soccer Leagues Include:
— 6-7 regular season games + single elimination playoff tournament
— 11v11 (Gender Breakdown: 7M/4F–you can play with more women)
— Two 25 minute halves
— 3 Paid Refs provided
— Online rosters must be completed before game one.
— Make sure everyone is wearing same color shirts
— Players MUST WEAR SHIN GUARDS
Indoor Soccer Leagues Include:
— 5-6 week regular season + playoff tournament
— Minimum of two girls on field for coed leagues
— One paid/trained ref provided

Welcome to Sports Monster Softball! Nobody runs a better softball league than Sports Monster! We do our best to make every softball league competitive for you, so no matter if you’re new to the game, or a seasoned vet, we’ve got a league for you.
We’re committed to finding the best facilities in the area at the most convenient locations, so you are certain to find something that works for you and your team! Don’t have a team? Don’t worry! Individuals are welcome, and we love to get you playing!
Softball Leagues Include:
6-7 Week Regular Season + playoff tournament (all teams qualify)
Umpires and game balls provided by Sports Monster
Coed teams require a minimum of 4 females on the field
Games are scheduled for 7 innings or one hour time limit
League champions receive a choice of t-shirts or trophy
Beginner Level:
New to the game of softball? Want to learn the ins and outs of playing on the field? Well, our beginner league is just the right fit for you. Come and join with others as we all embark on the game of softball. Let’s have some fun and learn as we go.
Recreational Level:
Our recreational leagues are all about having fun. Most players are familiar with the game and have played before, but young and old alike enjoy this division. Strike zones are liberal to encourage swinging the bat, and games are typically high scoring.
Competitive Level:
Want something more serious? We’ve got competitive leagues as well. They’re just as fun, but you better be able to pick it and/or hit the long ball when you’re playing against tougher competition!
